I represent clients charged with all Texas drug charges, including:
Marijuana or Cannabis contains at least 85 types of cannabinoids, of which THC, CBN and CBD are the most abundant and most studied. The main difference is that THC has a psychoactive effect whereas CBN and CBD have no psychoactive effects. It is CBN and CBD in wax and oil form that is used to treat neuropathic or chronic pain, Chron’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy and Darvet’s Syndrome, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, and Insomnia.
A Texas drug charge will result from the illegal to possession of THC oil and wax and CBN oil and wax, however it is not illegal to possess (Cannabidiol) CBD oil or wax. Even though it is legal to possess CBD it would be illegal to manufacture CBD in Texas because the marijuana plant is illegal to possess in Texas.
